FS Mullard, Amperex, etc...12ax7 CHEAP!

OK guys...this is for real, and here is the story. I have 15 of these. Most are original Blackburn Mullards with the codes on the glass, and an Amperex with codes. I want $150 for the lot shipped. Here is the catch...you knew it was comming...I have absolutely no idea how good these are. I have no tube tester, and absolutely no way of telling how much life is left in these. The only thing that I will say is that they all work. I put each one into the front end of my amp and every one of them fired up and sounded great. I just fell into a bunch of NOS Mullards still in their boxes, so these are expendable. Here is the breakdown of the lot...

10 Mullards...all made in Great Brit with Blackburn codes
2 Jan 12AX7WA
1 Tung Sol 12AX7 (original...not the reissue, probably from the 60s as it has a square getter)
1 RCA Blackplate 12AX7
1 Amperex (Holland, with etched codes)

Unless you have a tube tester, I would not recommend that any of these be put in V1 (phase inverter) of your amps as that tends to be the hardest position on tubes. I don't use any tube preamps for mics, so I don't know how they will perform in that situation.
 
Bump...

I would be open to any and all trades for this. The tubes are fine, I can't believe that no one is interested in genuine Mullards for $10 a pop. :confused: Are you guys aware that these tubes sell for $80 a pop if they are new?
 
I wouldn't mind a couple of Mullards or three, but I'd have no use for a lot of 10 of the things plus five other tubes. I think the size of the lot is probably the reason you haven't gotten more hits than you have.

Yeah . . . I'll take the 2 of the Mullard or Jan 12AX7s :)
 
OK...thats not a problem. I was hoping to sell them all together and avoid shipping costs. But if you guys are willing to pay the extra $5 for shipping, I have no problem with this. $10 a tube and $5 flat rate for shipping no matter how many you buy. I will ship USPS Priority mail which costs a little over $4.

Like I said, three Mullards. If they're serialed or batch numbered, try to put them in order and get three close together so maybe a couple of 'em will be from the same batch. Worth a shot, anyway.

Of the Mullard 12AX7 tubes - if they can be batched, great. Thanks for splitting the lot...no way I could use 10, but a couple would be great.
