As I am attempting to purchase a 74 Fender Twin Reverb, I need to unload my current amp. It's a Marshall VS100 head with a matching 4x12 cab. It's in fairly good condition although there are a few issues.
I dropped the footswitch on the street a few weeks ago during an unload before a gig so it's not really working that great. One of the speakers in the cab is blown, so that'll need to be replaced. Also, I'm missing one of the legs on the cab.
Wow, I'm now realizing this sounds like a piece of shit.
It's actually been a pretty solid amp, although it really was never the right sound for me. So now, I'm trying to unload it. I'm really not sure what I'll get for it. I paid $1200 for it when I bought it new roughly around 1997-8. I think $400 local & $500/550 shipped is fair. I will entertain best offers as well. Shipping will probably be pretty expensive (and a pain in the ass) so pick up is preferred...but I'm not against dealing with UPS. My zip code is 25443.
I'll be posting pics very soon.
