Pro Tools turned out to be far too complex for my needs. I'm going back to SONAR on a PC. As a result, I have the following basically brand new equipment for sale:
1) MacBook Pro - purchased 08/09 for $2800. 17" LED Hi-res; 3.06 GHz duo processor; 4GB DDR3; 500 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive. Includes Apple USB aluminum keyboard. Used 20 times at most - as new.
2) Glyph 500 GB 7200 Firewire Pro external HD.
3) Digidesign Rack Factory 003 with an enormous amount of Plug-ins
4) Digi Music Production Toolkit 2 software
5) Ozone Mastering Software installed on Mac.
I'm an old guy; old school - it's just too much for me. One of you whippersnappers will have a ball - and evidently Pro Tools is the industry choice...but I don't give a shite about the industry any more. I want SONAR back, running on a PC. Simple tools for a simple man.
I'm not going to sell this stuff piecemeal. I would prefer to sell as one bundle, and am willing to give a price the likes of which you'll never see again. I spent close to $5000 on this rig, and in the interest of expediting and getting SONAR back, I will sacrifice at $2500 for the works. All hardware and software, Mac included.
Otherwise, I would sell the Mac alone for $1850 and the PT rig for $1150 (with Glyph drive and 003 and all software), but I'm not going to sell the PT stuff piecemeal. If you want to get into pro tools, you'll not find a better offer.
Pics include bill of sale for mac on 8/9/09, which is the same time I bought the PT rig. The equipment is cherry.
