Alesis HD24, a few years ago now. NOT the XR version, and I don't have the Fireport. Including two drive caddies, but no hard drives. Missing one bay door--keep the caddies in and you won't notice! I replaced the fan with a quieter unit. Includes 2 6' ADAT cables, $750 shipped to US.

Furman AR1215 voltage regulator, great unit in great shape. Not much else to say . . . $225 shipped to US.

Oz Audio HR-4 headphone amp . . . these are the best, I have two but only need one . . . $125 shipped to US.

Also free to good home, a pair wall mount speaker brackets. I think they can hold up to 20lb. $5 for shipping . . .

Free with purchase of any of the rack units above, I have 3 1u vent panels and 1 3u vent panel. Any two panels with the HD24, one panel each for the other bits.

Finally, if anybody is interested in restoring a practice set of uilleann pipes (needs a reed and retwining and general TLC, hasn't been played in three years or so), make me an offer . . . I will try to look up the maker, I forgot :o

Email me: music at naiant dot com :)

C'mon guys, buy this stuff! If you don't, I will cry . . . because I love you, and I want you to have good gear! :(

OK, this stuff has now all gone to eBay :(

But, still free to good home, the speaker mounts, and I also have an Apex 220 measurement mic, both free, just pay me $5 for shipping ($12 international)!

ok man....ill take the mic....Im getting ready to try to tune up my rooms anyway....

how you want me to pay?

Do you still have the uileann pipes?

If you are interested we might arrange a private sale. I like to do that to watchers that refuse to bid early. Yeah, I know, sniping works. I do it too! But it's fun to pretend to have the moral high ground and tell all the watchers, not one of whom would even lowball the thing, tough luck sniping dudes :p

I'm a bad person. I prefer evil snibbling myself. Usually, I put in a lowball bid just to save the trouble of watching. Sometimes that will attract a nibbler. So I will string them along with response lowball nibbling, at intervals of a day or two, then another bid at 12 hours, and maybe a bid at an hour. The goal is to keep the bid value about 1/3 of what my max is. Then, with 10 minutes to go, another nibble, and finally, my real bid with one minute left. Why one minute and not ten seconds? Because I want them to nibble several times in a woeful attempt to catch my bid, which they think they will be able to do based upon my previous bidding pattern :D

Then a real sniper will show up, and I will win or lose as normal, but with much more perverse enjoyment :D Sometimes with an item with an unknown value, I think the lowball bid war can kinda psych them out into entering too low of a snipe, and then they lose to a snibbler! That's just a wild theory though.

Like I said, I'm a bad person :(

You gotta make sure you aren't being shilled though. That's one thing that makes me dislike eBay, they have made it practically impossible to spot shillers

Watchers, snipers, nibblers & shillers. There's a Heinlein novel in there somewhere...

Add a matador, and it's Hemingway!

The sentences. They were long. Too long.

Too long for a day in the hot sun.

The sun, blazing like the red cape waving frantically at the bull.

The dust on his brow was like the blood pouring from the bull's shoulder. The bull was dusty too, but he wasn't hot.

In the distance the sound of pipes carried over the roar of the crowd. Then he broke down, cracked, and sobbed. Sobbed like the rugby pitch at Yale. He needed a drink.

A drink, and a new reed.

Wow, negotiation through feedback! Sorry, didn't see that before. Well, I am not sure, I actually started it pretty low on eBay. Have a look at the Lark site as they have a new set. I usually figure 60% new minus cost of repairs, which puts that around $400.

Right now I have 11 watchers and no bids, with 6 days to go. If I get to three days with no bids, I'd be willing to make a better deal than that.

OK, the Oz can amp did not sell on eBay. It's too bad people don't know about this unit, because it's the best!

Sooo . . . trade me anything roughly worth $75 for it, and it's yours. I like random instruments, strange percussion, I could use a splash cymbal or some chimes . . . some kind of interesting dynamic mic. I don't do a lot with guitar pedals, and my rack is full. Otherwise I am pretty open to trades . . . :o
