$1,850 shipped in continental us, paypal ok, we split paypal fees... priced to sell.
various changes in the studio, so I'll be parting with this awesome unit. I was told from a fellow gs'er, who I bought this from in december of '07, that there were only a short run of these made (maybe 100). dan from GR went on to manufacturing the nv series shortly after. this is a rare piece.
here's an online review I dug up about the mp-2 (same unit, but only 2 channels):
Great River Electronics MP-2: TWO-CHANNEL MICROPHONE PREAMP
this is a steal for the money, considering you get 4 gr pres. the unit is in great conditions, stepped rotary knobs for gain, phantom, polarity, pad, and DI input as well. you can get a lot of gain out of this unit.
I've used them on everything, including vocals, kick, snare, drum rooms, drum overheads, toms, blah, blah.. versatile pres, but not versatile in that everything sounds "ok" through them, rather everything sounds "good."
PM me if interested.
