I am selling my Focusrite Penta Platinum. It is a preamp combined with a compressor/limiter in a 2U rackmount unit.
Asking $195 (I am on the good guys list, too!)
- Balanced ins and outs
- Stereo Compressor/Limiter
- Focusrite Class A Platinum Mic-pre (with Phantom Power)
- Input and Output VU meters

It's kind of a mid range focusrite product. It retailed for close to $400 when it came out. It sounds great, and I found it to be my "go to" channel strip for single tracking guitars or vocals. Why am I selling it? There are some other things I need more right now. For one thing, I have 18 channels of preamps, 6 channels of compression and only 10 inputs. I really need more inputs, and an outboard reverb of some sort more than I need this.
I would consider any of the following as trade or partial trade:
- Lexicon LXP-15 II or Lexicon MX200
- MR8 (with an upgraded flash card)
- a Shiny box ribbon mic
straight trade
or
- Delta 1010LT
- Sennheiser E609
plus some $$....
