Hello!
I have been using fruityloops for quite some time now but the other day when I went to use it I got the following error:

"This application has failed to start because hhctrl.ocx was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Okay well re-installing did NOT fix this problem. I even went and found the file on the internet, its an activex control file but obviously i downloaded a wrong version cause it will load now but it plays all freaky and whatnot. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have this ocx file in their fruityloops directory? (for 3.4 or 3.56? Or can anyone tell me what has happened?

thanks

got it...

well i figured it out..apparently this is some html help file that comes with XP but for some reason it wasn't there anymore on my pc. I had to get it from the windows update and then copy the ocx file to the fruityloops directory. Everything is working fine now.

exactly

that's exactly the kind of random, time-consuming crap that turns a normal old computer into a #@!&$^@(! computer!

to paraphrase Queen, guaranteed to drive you nuts.
