Hey Everyone,
Wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this or prior experiance:
So I'm recording in protools at home with some Reason 2.5 soft synths via midi keyboard ... all into my daw for my Experimental Rock project.
Now my question?
How do I move this to the stage?
It's mainly pads, strings, and just layers/textures flowing behind the songs when the parts come up. Some light piano/keys stuff too...
and I'm not too sure if we want to use backing tracks either (perhaps a last resort)
*So any ideas if I could load the Reason sounds into a keyboard/midi module? If so any suggestions?
*Should I just have a bandmember play a 'hard' synth/real keyboards and try to match the Reason patches as close as possible?
*Do I run a makeshift computer on stage with midi controllers?
*Which, if any, is the most reliable option?
Suggestions much loved and appreciatted
Thanks
