From an old tape I found...

Thats pretty cool. I like the feel of the song. What did you play on it?

At that time I only had the Gibson Ripper, a 6x10 no-named cab and a Maranz 1152 Home Stereo Amp. Chucky played a Fender Rhodes 73 and Roosevelt used a no-name drumset.

I don't care how technically wrong it may be, there's something about recording on a single inexpensive tape recorder that's so charming sounding to me. Of course, there are degrees of how bad and how good it can be, but this one was sitting in the perfect spot. Great little recording, puts the listener right in the room.

Larry, good playing as usual...on all your guys parts. Sounds like it was in a dingy jazz club. The quality is actually very good for what it is. You can stuff very well. I din't think I get this good of quality with my stuff. Guess I might need to look into getting a boom box... :D

Thanks! We did this in a basement while waiting for the 3 singers to come up wih some lyrics.(never happened) Relistening, I realized we also had a conga player. That would be Rob. He wasn't with us long. Soon after he joined us, he was killed at a party. Stopped me from going to parties. :(
