please post comments thanks

(im tryin to decide if i should pay this studio dude to mix n master all my joints, or keep lookin for other folk)

yo

i peeped the surround joint. i checked out the original and the mastered version. the pro version sounds alot better.

i would def let them do your songs if you feel comfortable with the price. you can even try and just bring your raw tracks seperated on cd and have them only mix and master instead of tracking, mixing, and mastering. that could save you some money. i only peeped the song through computer monitors so i couldn't give you any really detailed feed back.

nice song.

I Like the kick in your home version of surrounded better, sounds more earthy. Seems the mix is tad edgy (pro mix) other wise the clarity is nice.

Have them meet you somewhere in the middle with your agressive sound on the Drums and their clarity with the vocals and I think you will have a smash mix.

I think the (ping pong??) delay on the vocals was over done on the pro mix.

The quality sounded good in the prof mix. I wasn't feeling the vocal effects though. So much that I like the original better. I'd suggest doing some extra takes and then stacking the vocals the old school way.

Surrounded Prof mix is poor. Vocals to high/beat too low.
U Still Wit Me - I like the beat, think better samples can be had for drums, the vocals dont sounds professionally recorded to me. I think it may be the doubles that sounds a little askew.

thanks for all the feedback people

for real!!!

im printin all this out and study it before i hit the prof. studio again
