Not quite sure where to post this, but the question's quite simple. I've migrated to Tracktion but it has no noise gate. Compressors etc are easy to come by but does anyone know of a noise gate plugin?

AlliGater (Tobybear - http://www.tobybear.de/ )
AntiGate (Bioroid - http://www.bioroid.com )
BlueGate (Blueline)
dfx MidiGater (destroyFX - http://www.smartelectronix.com/~destroyfx/ )
FloorFish (digitalfishphones - http://www.digitalfishphones.com/ )
Hybrid Alien MidiGate ( http://www.hybridalien.com/ )
Indygo Gater ( http://www.indygo.de/files/ )
VNoisegate

I had know idea there were to many plugins around! Man.

How do you choose? You have to install hundreds of these to even start trying them out fairly!

If I was you I'll just make a "Gates" folder in my vst plus directory and download them all there, then just try them and see which one fits best.
If you want just a simple gate, then Floorfish is a cool one, and all their plugs are very well regarded sound quality-wise.

Most modern gate plugins play around with midi or sequencing which is very cool, although maybe you don't need that.

I initially just need it to save me automating some of my faders. Tracktion is kinda weird at that stuff so I am hoping to clean up without getting totally confused.
