While I agree that doing a search first is the best way to find an answer to a question, it doesn't always work that well. In this instance, doing a search for "free plugins" will bring up everything with the word "free" and the word "plugins" individually, regardless of the reference. There are 500 posts with the words "free" and "plugins" listed. IF the search was collective and not independent in it's way of looking posts up, it would be way better.

Yep. And a number of the Reaper stock plugs (quite nice) are available in VST form in a free download for those using other apps.
