These are not rocket science nor audiophile quality but they will get your monitors up to ear height if you follow instructions for "not a lot of dough/moola/euros/samolians"

I agree with Witzendoz. You've made one of the stands back to front.

Naa...he has the monitors and stands the right way...one is showing the front and the other showing the back. :)

I'm just wondering if the base shouldn't be bigger (unless the plan is to bolt them down)...they look like they could easily topple over. Maybe if they had more weight at the bottom it would be OK.

I was going to add that one of his monitors was made around the wrong way as well, but I guess that would be labouring the joke.

Yeah, if one has kids, dogs, or alcohol around, those better be bolted to the floor. :)

Thanks, All.
I'm running a little "slow" this week and didnt catch the humor.
However, I did see that I need to do some rewording in my instructions so it's all good!

FYI, Even though the bases seem small to some, I never had an issue with them as they were always behind whatever desk I was using at the time so there was no way I could knock them around.

Gotta run.
Clock is ticking and the chore list is BIG!

If you have a look at the link to my studio, I made the stands that the main (rear) monitors are on. 2 lengths of pine in a V with the point at the front. Then a top and bottom added.

I asked my tech what he thought of them. He said I should sell them on the net. So me thinking he was serious (that would be a first) started talking about pre-cutting the wood and sending screws to bolt them together etc, he said no just send a length of wood and a picture.
