Free DX and VST Plugins?

Does anyone here know where I can find some free DX or VST audio effect plugins to use with Sonar 2.0 XL? I've been looking all over and I can't seem to find any. Quality really doesn't matter to me... I'm just looking for some things to make my music sound weird, y'know... Special effects. Why do I want them for free? Well, I figured I payed enough money for my rig and all of my programs and I am not spending another red cent!

Sonar has no VST support! You'll need a VST-wrapper, but you'll find one for free on www.thedirectxfiles.com
