OK i know i said "Mastering" but what i really mean is i will make your mix:
clear and punchy, tight and full, and up front and load.
my humility will not allow for the term "Mastering Engineer".
this free service is for folks fairly new to audio engineering and have come to find them selves turning out pretty clean mixes, but just need a little mastering so they can present there songs to the world.
a few weeks ago i attempted to master a track for a band i recorded, I said "here man, when you get the CD mastered it should sound something like this but a whole lot better". I just wanted to make it load enough for him to hear his mix load and clear. Well since then i have gotten really good feed back on my mastering job from a few different people. So i want to try and see want i can do to other mixes of music.
if you have been recording music for 10 yrs. please do not reply to this. I'm looking for folks that can put out nice clean mixes, but at the same time don't know where to start when it comes to Audio Mastering (just above a Newbie).
i want a win win situation, i win by the experience, you win cause your mix sounds better, and you never could have done it on your own.

I WILL ONLY ACCEPT:
1) 16/24 bit stereo wav/aiff file (prefer 24bit 88.2) on disk
2) unprocessed mix. Effect and process all you want to the tracks, but leave the master channel alone.
3) no explicit lyrics.
4) keep the mix between -6 to -1 for the majority of the time.
5) i will not do restoration, you should like the sound of your mix before you send it.
6) all you pay is shipping both ways.
