This one came about strangely. I sketched the piece out loosely on an out of tune 12 string guitar but Stu Gort liked what he heard anyways and jumped in to help. He then added most of what you hear here - begging me to please retrack the 12 string and tune the fucking thing right. So - I did.

I then added all the BGVs, the organ, and lastly - of all things, the drums. Yep - this was completely recorded w/o drums - and I have to tell you, adding them afterward gets tricky when trying to make them fit.

This is a new mix w/ new tools. Stu did the bass on like 8 different tracks and it is all over the place. You'll get a sense of what I mean when you listen. He did a LOT of interesting stuff.

I liked it so much that I may have brought it too forward. Is it clear w/o muddying on your listening rigs? I mix on a couple of shitty Radio Shack Minimus Sevens and I can hear it clearly on them - so that sometimes portends that I've overdone the bottom and it might be a little thundering. Please let me know if you think it's too much - and thanks!

Also - as usual, anything else you want to chime in on is warmly welcomed.
