Fostex vf160-ex and Fruity Loops Studio

I was thinking about buing the Fruity Loops Studio software for my computer (which is basically an advanced mixing and production program) and was wondering if there is a way that I will be able to use my VF160ex with the Fruity Loops Studio program. Maybe USB or something so I can run my VF160ex to my computer and mix with Fruity Loops instead of on the VF160ex? I anyone knows or has any ideas about this please let me know. Thanks. -AP
 
You can use the ADAT output from the VF160EX and run it into an ADAT input on your computer (assuming you have an optical ADAT connection on your sound card). That will give you 8 additional inputs using your VF160EX as an interface. I'm not sure if FL will allow you to see all of those inputs however. I haven't used FL for years. You can also use the VF160EX in ADAT mixer mode. Refer to the manual for details on both of these options. Short of that, I don't think you have any other options.
