fostex r8 sync

hi does anyone know if you can sync a fostex r8 to annother r8? can you use the mtc-1 box or do you need annother piece of equipment? im assuming you need to record time code onto a track then have them talk to eachother. . thanks

Yes.

Two R8's can be sync'd with the Fostex 4030/4035 Synchronizer/Controller, & appropriate cables that interface to the Accessory port.

I just bought an R8 and 4030 and want to configure the 4030 to connect the R8 as a slave (DAW will be the master).
Do you know the correct 4030 settings for the R8? It is not covered in the 4030 User Manual.
