Fostex PM1

Hello everyone, been lurking awhile, now need some help. I have a pair of the Fostex PM1's that I purchased new in February this year. The right speaker is blown (purely by accident). This happens when a two year old presses the record track 8 button on the ADAT during playback. I love the headroom on the soundcraft, but the right speaker did not.

My question relates to matched pairs of speakers. Is it feasable to repair or replace one speaker ?

Any suggestions will be appreciated

I once blew a tweet in one of my Yorkville YSM1s back in the day.

I just ordered another tweet and replaced the bad one.


didn't notice any changes, but my ears werent as good or criticle as they are now.

Maybe one of the pros will shine in and comment.

Thanks for the suggestion. My ears are lean towards the newbie side. I'll check prices on tweeters and go from there.
