hi would any one recmend this. ive been using a yamaha md 8 to record at a friends house and now i want a mutitrack it look very simaler except for no md. should i go for it comments please

I love my FD8. Just keep in mind that by itself, you can only record 2 unique tracks at a time. If you want to record more than that, you'll need something to input with that has either adat i.o for 8 tracks at once or spdif for 4 tracks at once. The mixer on the FD8 is a damn good analog mixer. Plus you get 24 tracks total. I use mine with my PC and a digital mixer and get great results. Plus, you can find them for cheap.
