Me and my friend are about to embark on a musical journey recording songs and doing shows. I have a boat load of music equipment but i can't get my electric guitar to sound good with my fostex digi recorder. Now i'm using a fender strat and a marshal jcm 900 50 watt half stack...which sounds amazing. But... trying to get it to sound good recording has been tough. The mics i have been using are Shure sm57s and sm58s. So if someone could maybe give me some tips about how they record thier electric guitars on a fostext dmt-8vl and get a good sounding result please let me know. thankyou
