Just recentley purchased a Fostex D-108 and I have a Soundcraft Spirit FX8 desk which I thought I could use with it.
Apparentley not, some one in the recording industry with years of knowledge has told me, I need a 16 channel desk to be able to record and monitor back all 8 tracks.
I've been playing live with this desk for some years, but when it comes to recording I'm completely in the fog.
If some one could point me in the right direction as to what cables I need to buy and which desk I would be most grateful.
I should point out that I record only vocals and acoustic instruments, slide guitar, shakers, didgeridoo ect..........
