Anyone using or have used a Fostex 820? If so could you give me some particulars on the board. Ive got a potential for 150. But Im not that familiar with it except that its 20 input 9 buss.
 
I have a very shortened version of the 820 manual showing only the circuit diagram but I do have the full manual for the 812. If this is of any use please PM me with your e-mail address and I will send you a copy.
 
Well I decided against buying a 820 in spite of its low low price. 820 is not true in line from what I can tell you can only listen to input or tape track on one channel and not both at the same time. On true inline a 20 channel mixer actually gives 40 inputs at mixdown. In my case I need lots of inputs because at mixdown I have a ASR10 hardware sampler a drum module, 3 hardware syths, 4 effects boxes, and up to 16 tape tracks. So inputs are a premium.
