So I was browsing my local music store catalogue, and I noticed that they carried products by a company called Forward Acoustics.

They are a Canadian company, and I think they also service the states as well.

I was curious if anyone had any experience with their products, primarily the portable gobos, bass traps, and acoustic panels.

Are they any good? Because the price is very attractive ;)

Thanks

They look pretty good to me. Try and find some absorption coefficients.

Looks interesting. But tough to find much info on them, or any pricing.

in the catalogue I have, which is for Long & McQuade mentions pricing:

- "Acoustic Panels" from $84.99
- "Diffusers" from $84.99
- "Bass Traps" from $285
- "Portable Gobos" from $49.99
- "Ceiling Systems" from $61.99

and also says:

- Superior acoustic absorption
- Portable, durable, and fabric-wrapped
- Easy, no mess installation
- Sturdy wood frame construction makes our panels impact and damage resistant
- Mix absorption and diffusion affordably
- Use gobos to isolate vocals and instruments

obviously just buzz words and stuff but it mentions construction of the panels.

Check out Realtraps. They publish coefficients and are probably built to a higher standard. The co-owner, Ethan Winer, lurks in these forums. Check out their room kits.
