Just got a Plextor CD for my Fostex VF-16 but can't format a disk. It says "void!" Anyone know what the problem is? Also, how do I mix down to a CD? I'm new at this, thanks.
are you going through the scsi port? if you are i was afraid of that. i have a stand alone cd burner that i bought a cercet city.i come out of my digital out/spdif out into the digital in on the stand alone so that it's digital all the way. if you can i would send it back and buy a stand a lone. there about $199 at cercit city and they also come in handy like the other day i wanted to go from tape to cd. if i have, had one of the scsi cd burners i would have had to run the tape trough my recorder and use up mb and plus it bracks a singal in your chain. with the stand alone i whent
from the tape deck to the cd burner via rca inputs.
on the other hand if a scsi drive is what you want then call
