I am still listening Dog! Your onto something spectacular here...I can hear all those lead notes in my head!!! What a shame I can't play what I hear, the way I hear it, cause it really kicks ass....in my head that is!!! :D :D :D

Dogman,

Dude!

Dude!

Sounds really nice. Sweet. The intro guitar is very full and rich. Is that just one guitar? It sounds like just one guitar playing that part. When it changes to the second muted + melody guitar part, maybe crossfade a little more subtle. This one stops and restarts with the other part. It's cool but crossfading slowly over 4 measures might sound cool.

Very cool. You could almost put another couple minutes' playing and call it pretty much a track. :)

Great sound on the guitars on this Dogman, playing is tight and very melodic.

I like the change up to the second part - nice fade/build up - kind of orchestral feeling.....

Good One!

:) :D :) :D :) :D

SWEET!

sound and playing... how'd you mic it?

WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH OUR FRIEND ED??  :D

Wow, I was NOT expecting this! Very soothing and pleasing. My nit is that you faded out too soon and could have squeezed thirty seconds more into this.

VERY nice. This would be great on a harder sounding album as an interlude to break up the pacing. WELL DONE SON! :D

Tell us what you used to record, and how!!@!!!!!

Amazingly amazing. I'm no expert, but that guitar makes me horny.

Hey, thanks all.....but it's not me playing. My friend sent me a bunch of small pieces, and asked me to come up with something for him. This is about 3 weeks of editing from his parts. He's pretty happy with it, so I figured I'd see what you all thought. I'll see if I can get some particulars from him. The initial sounds are phenomonal, but just some aimless noodleing. :D

Hey Dog ;)

Great playing from your friend and awesome mix/sound, great job!

I am very jealous since most of what I record personally is acoustic guitar and some vocals :D

Why do I feel so cheated now? :D

Fool :D

Tell your friend kudos Dog!!! :)

Hi Dogman,
great splice job. Nice chords to the intro. The 2nd theme reminds me a little of Nostrodamus by Al Stewart on the LP before Year of the Cat, it is called Past present & Future.
It does beg for a little classical lead line in the 2nd phase, just something short & sweet to tinker with.
Very, very nice playing, recording & editing.
What's the chain & rig for this piece?
If you get a chance to listen to P,P & F, hone in on Nostradumus as well as Roads To Moscow. Both are exemplars of acoustic magic - except for the lously edit in the latter that is.
Nice, nice, nice.

Cut and paste is cool.......................
I love the intro.
Nice work Ed. Now put your killer vocals on it and you will have a Gold mp3. :D

Thanks my friends......I may put this together as a longer piece....as I have lyrics already, and might see if True will sing something to it.

If you are interested, here is what I started with...this is part of teh A file....and there is a B to match....not sure if it's doubled, or just a second mic, as it's very close to the same thing....
Guitar

I'ts about 45 seconds long, but stops after each change....
