...the GC clearance spamsheet just arrived, and they're selling them out at $70 each ($69.99). No, I don't work for GC or Oktava... I just know there are some folks still looking for this mic, and thought I'd pass along the info.
As many others have written, Oktava's vary quite a bit from mic to mic... some of them sound a bit odd (no bottom, or no top, or both), the XLR connector is too tight on some mics, the mike clip is wimpy, and the finish quality is pretty low-tech, but if you're lucky and find the right mic, it can be a good LDC for the price. FWIW.
