my 4 years old comp died last week, motherboard (intel workin at pc133 sdram) and processor. I need now to upgrade, so will have to change the motherboard, new ram, new processor, probably new powersupply. Will the cd drive, graphic card and ge force2 accelerator fit with a new motherboard???

and what are the pieces you recommend as motherboard and processor (like what is the actual "speed", p4 3,2, dunno)?

what's the typical price for a motherboard working with dual ddr400 ?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
why did it died now, 10 months ago and it was still on waranty!!!!!

I'm not sure about the graphics card. Alot of the newer motherboards are starting to use PCIe for graphics cards. That GeForce (if I remember right) needs an AGP port. Just make sure the specs on the main board specify that it has an agp port.

many new boards will support both pcie and agp. if you get one that has both you can always upgrade later = easier on the chequebook.
