for the love of GOD...somebody please help me with an easy question.....

So far so good. First recording of 15 band songs last night utilizing 14 tracks for each take. EQ, comp, reverb - all added sucessfully. I simply want to cut off the dead air at the beginning and end of the song takes universally across all 14 tracks. I'm pretty sure Reaper can handle this....lol... Thanks in advance for your assistance ! !

You can do it when rendering, otherwise, from the Edit menu, select all tracks. Then in the time scale, select the area you want to delete, then right click, cut selected areas. Then drag everything to the left(for the start of the song). (There's probably a quicker way).

Good call MB !! I just plugged in my desired time points from the rendering menu - easy enough... It's been said here many times before - there is more than one way to skin a cat around this rodeo !!! Many thanks Mike - I'm sure I'll be back again soon. BTW - So far, I've found this software to be completely ridiculous for what it does for the price...OMG...
