60's guy

A few years ago, my girlfriend’s dad passed away after having lost his life to cancer.

He was a good man. He was a prominent architect in western Mass, a friend to Norman Rockwell, and numerous others.

When he passed, I felt a sense of loss that still remains with me..

I recorded “For Someone Gone” after returning home the memorial service.

For Someone Gone

the harp is really moody! i can feel it deep down.

the 2 geets kinda drag eachother around with the timing, but a crit may not be in order for a song of this nature...

i like the tune alot...sollom(mispelled i'm sure) harp and hoppy(no i didn't mispell it) geet rythem interact well. nice work!

60 have a listen to david K's latest. It's strange synchronicity that you both post music that express very similar emotions & tell stories of loss with very different instrumentation.
The blues harp wail is very effective.
I have an odd panning or guitars in my headphones that doesn't do them any justice.
Bass lines are nice but the tone needs a bit of definition.
Good expressive piece.
