Just another guy, really.
Hope it's okay to put this here- I figured it would get more views here in Analog than in For Sale...

I can't recall if it's an A-77 or a B-77, and don't have the time at the mo to figure it out. Also, I can never remember what "half-track" means except when talking about tanks, but it records in stereo, in both directions. 1/4" machine. Has those big hubs on it- again, too rushed/lazy to figure out what they are called. Also too lazy to take a pic right now, but one is coming. In fact, I can take pics of anything on it (would prefer to not have to open the case, tho) to help you decide if you want it.

Everything seems to work just fine. Haven't decided on a price (my GOD, but I am lazy today!) so reasonable offers are welcome. I'd rather sell it local- Atlanta, GA area- but can ship if need be.

Thanks.

Isn't part of a mods job to make sure posts go in the right place, regardless of reason? Maybe I should post my ads in microphones and rack so i can get more views too! ;)

I dunno the rules. Besides, there are other mods- if I put it in the wrong place, I am sure someone with some authority will give me the appropriate beat-down.

i'm interested. when you decide on what it is your selling, what it looks like, and how much you're asking... toss me a message! i'm not local, but only a hop, skip, and a jump away up in blacksburg, va

I believe if it records in stereo in both directions, it's called a "quarter-track". The tape is actually seperated into four sections so it can record two tracks going each way. "Half-track" only records in one direction, hence seperating the tracks into two sections. (I got to use the word hence!) The big hubs means it takes up to 10" reels (you can remove them to record onto 7 1/2" reels).
