Focusrite Platinum

In my quest to get some gear that is a little better....

Has anyone had experience with the Focusrite Platinum series mic pre's? I'm looking at the MH400, MH401, and MH427 Penta. The unfortunate thing is I'll probably order from sweetwater, so I wont get to try them out first or anything. Hopefully someone has had some experience here.

No experience here, but you might want to read these reviews at ProRec before you buy. Rip Rowen wasn't overly impressed with the 400 Voicemaster. I've heard from one pro who really likes the Focusrite Green series, however. He says the quality is much higher than the Platinum series, and you can find them used for about the same price.
