Focusrite Platinum 5 Penta

Anyone had any experience with these? I'm shopping for pre's and I know focusrite has quite the reputation. This is obviously bottom of the barrel for them. Still can't be that bad though. Some others I have been looking at are HHB radius 40, and the meek's. I've seen the penta for the low low price of $376 clams. Seems like a bargain if it is a quality pre. Any thoughts?

Lotssa folks here use the meeks. They seem to like them ok.
I've heard HHb Radius come up in discussion here before too. Might wanna do a search on those 2 and see what people that actually use them think of them. (I don't own either model)
If you're shopping for a pre, what's your budget? What are you using now? What mikes do you have that you'll be using this new pre with?
The Focusrite Penta, for 376 ducks, does sound like a bargain; how does it comapre to what you're using now? If I had 376 dollars burning a hole in my pocket, and I needed a new prosummer pre, I might be tempted to lay it down on that one.
