Well..Tonight my basement studio flooded...Now I have to move int oa cramped 9'x11' bedroom....I am so upset i had such a nice setup and had finally finished buuilding it all. Tonight I tore it down, now for the setup... I can't see this 9'x11' room working out...it is jsut to small. The only plus is that i gained a foot of ceiling height now I have a full 8 feet.
 
That sucks man. My basement flooded last year. Luckily it was before i really started putting my studio together, cause it was pretty bad. It took until just a couple weeks ago for us to finally get some carpet down there. Good luck, hope it works out.

That's terrible. Aww that's really shit. But at least you can still record. 9x11 aint too bad. My control and 1 live room will be 6 1/2' x 7 1/2', lol. so 9x11 is pretty big. I suppose it is a bedroom though.
 
That smell of concentrated Lysol for a month, mopping in your sleep,
TRYING to find some interest or humor in what floats to help ease the pain of what didn't. -The word "flood" should be changed to "This @#*~in' blows!"

After i had about 4 feet of water in my basement there was a residual flood paranoia for years to come. For a while the drums were set up in a rubber raft!

If no one was hurt, your house is still at the same address as before the flood and no major gear was lost, then at least you have "It could have been worse". It's not much, but it's a start.

Oh, and you have a song: "..Got that 9 by 11, studio flooded Blue-Oos"

Haha all of this is true, I was singing the blues while tearing down my acoustic treatment and my desk. The first thing that came to mind was, that I was going to be moving into pandamonk's studio! I setup my studio yesterday, the only thing lacking is that "wide" sound.
