Hi guys - another question: I'm slow in understanding more flexible ways to do routing - such as a submix for background vox. Can someone point me to a link that would give me ideas & explained well? Thanks.

I don't even know enough to answer...routing some backup vox (more than one track) from the mixing console to the master?? or to the aux return? I just know there is more that you can do than what I am currently doing.

OK I'm looking at Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro 3:

the mixing console outputs give me a choice of my sound card ("USB device") or subgroup 1-8.

The bus panel shows the 8 subgroup channel strips, each with a choice to route the output to the sound card, subgroup 1-8, or aux 1 & 2.

The aux returns give me the choice of sound card, subgroup 1-8, or the other aux. And there is no channel strip labeled "master".

And they all give me the choice of "none". I think if I understood that & the implications, my mixing would get a lot better.
Thanks for yr interest!
