I've been wondering if I should use the same powder on my flatwound guitar strings as on the roundwounds.

I was also going to try some cornstarch on the rounds, to see if it works better than talcum powder.

Anyone?

Seriously. Your going to find it hard to work the powder into the windings of those ribbon wounds. It may be harder for you to get the feel you are after as a result.

Feel? I just want those strings to stay fresh for 13 months. Wonder what kind of powder would work?

Try Bisquick.

Save up your dandruff until you have enough

You can always scratch at your friends and families scalps and get enough for a regular treatment. Rub it in well with that blue fluff that collect in your ass crack and you are good to go.
