FL studio playlist mix to sonar 2 xl freak out

all up in yo grill!
when i export drumbeat made in fl studio in song form. it takes forever and a day for it to load into sonar 2xl. the mixdown takes forever after tracks have been recorded with it and i cant turn it into an mp3.....should i just stick with making the drum beat in pattern and copy/paste in sonar?
 
Hey there.

When you say "Forever and a day" What exactly do you mean?

I import stuff from fruity into cakewalk all the time with no problems. In fruity, I export my fruity song as a wave file. Then in cakewalk, I import audio and grab that wave file I made in fruity. It works great for me. I am even able to control the tempo of the fruity wave file after it is in Cakewalk. It's awesome.
