Plastic case version, I bet.
Recapping the PS might do it. If not, also replace U1 (74LS04N) and Y1 (Raltron 8M crystal). Also do this cap mod below if not already there.
Scrape the green PC board coating from an area about 1/4" square from the digital ground buss and tack solder a 470pf capacitor between the scraped area and pin 1 of U1 (see photo).
