First try at this type of style

Does anyone have any suggestion on how I could make or mix this better?
 
nope...sounds very pleasant to me and levels seemed right

wasnt sure about the low note at 0.55, seemed a little dissonant to me..but Im not really much of a guitarist

nice job imo though :)


hint: the clinic works best of you critique other peoples music, set aside 15 mins and listen and comment on others work, chances are they'll want to comment on yours, especially if youre fairly new to the forum
 
It sounds nice, but it's not loud enough. I can turn my speakers real loud and that helps a little, but if I was using normal PC speakers I would barley be able to hear it.

The tapping sound that starts doesn't have enough thump too it. I don't really like the tapping sounds that start up. It sounds like you're tapping on the back of an acoustic guitar. Needs a little more oomph.

Because there are so few instruments going on it sounds pretty much done. Try adding some bass, drums and vocals if you want to challenge your mixing skills :D

It's not Spanish without a little accordion thrown in. To be honest it doesn't sound spanish at all to me. More like some kind of classic rock stuff.
