Sun is shining through the trees,
Diamond dust is everywhere
Cold air tastes just like a breeze
In the desert solitaire

Now I’m standing at the edge,
Pulling down like gravity
Champagne powder and the butterflies,
Falling so happily

First Tracks, Cold Thrill, Wind and Tree
Big Grin, Addict’s mind, Follow me.

Suddenly I can see
Wide open fields below,
Speed is my friend
Where I want to go

Straight down the sun will shine,
It will carry me
Down the spine,
Stone Free.

Pillow drift and butterflies,
Champagne on ice
Cold smoke can dry your eyes,
Knee deep is so nice.
 
The guitar playing needs no comment. Great bass tone, I'd like to hear it more of it. The bottom could be louder for me. The lyrics are evocative though I have no clue what they are about. Good work.

this was the first song i recorded, using my freshly minted USACG strat..... so the meaning of the song is double.....


i have a more bottom-heavy mix if you want to hear it.......

the lyric is about alpine skiing...
either in bounds or out...

and going up the mountain on a deep powder day..
and the feelings that doing this invoke, put to music
 
Nice looking guitar Gonzo. Skiing--now it all makes sense! Thanks, I listened to the bass-heavy mix. Somewhere between these two mixes would my ideal.
