I am an experienced drummer wanting to independently mic my drums, am not in a solid band yet. In the past I have always been in bands where either another member owned the PA or we used house stuff. My only knowledge is mic positioning, this is probably a stupid question. I need to know everything I will need to do this besides mics. I am building a practice/recording room in a 2.5 car garage for jamming and practice. I am very interested in learning/experimenting with building/mixing a specific sound on my own. I would greatly appreciate anyone that would help me with this probably idiotic query. You can email me at <dangerdocc@special-operations.army.net>. ICQ# 38894485.

Thanx,
