first time recording hip hop

Hello,

This is my first time making a beat and recording vox for that beat. I uselly record rock and folk. So my question to you guys is how dose this sound for a ruff mix? it is a mp4 and were still working out some bugs in the mix.

I think it sounds good, mix wise.........The song/lyrics to me needs tightening up.......The second rapper sounds like one of the players from the '85 bears singing "The Superbowl Shuffle". Some of you old heads may remember it, and to those who don't "It's not a compliment". Sounds kind of like a mockery of rap! But back to your question, I think you hace the mix heading in the right direction!
 
Yeah mix and flow is better than my first one...but the lyrics just won't do it for me.
 
Thanks for the reply's! I just mixed the beat and dint write the lyrics and i agree that they could be tighter now that you say that. elastic audio time!! yes!! But its good to finally get some money back in my pockets and theis guys want to record more with me.

I will be u tubeing the 85 bares thing to see what you mean, im only 20 so i have no idea what your talking about. im sure it will be funny!

if anyone has some quick tips please chime in no comment is bad and nothing will offend me!
