Hey all!

After about a year of research and procurement of equipment, I need to borrow your ears for a few and tell me what you think of this recording.

View attachment Drum Test.mp3

I recorded this completely dry from the mixer. No EQ, no comp. I did however forgot to activate the HPF on the overheads, so I deployed the HPF plugin. I also used a gate with fast attack and a some what slow decay on the tom and floor tom.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds pretty good to me, actually very good!

You should check your levels, I think I heard some clipping at 0:45

The bass drum sounds a bit dull, but that can be fixed with EQ and comp. :)
