My first time as a poster on the forum, i believe this is the right place to put this topic was tempted to hit up the newbies section, but still
What i need to do :
I play electric guitar(ibanez), and i sing in a band, but when i'm at home i don't rly have acess to any real recording devices,
What i currently use and doesn't get me anywhere, is a u 108 wireless microphone receiver with two mics , the station is hooked up to my guitar amp , which is also pluged into my guitar, ok the set up is abit weird but the audio is ok.
however ignore that situation i have no true recording device in which to get that over to the pc, i currently have audigy as my software base.
I've talked to a friend about this slightly, they're set up vaugly described as a seinheiser microphone conected to a mixer(board?) which was conected to the pc, and a headset just to hear it , i'd like to go for something similar but with the amount of stuff out there i'm rly confused at what to get,
I really want a set up thats going to last me,
Price budget is variable minuim i guess i around 300 pounds, maxium variable at 1k
or 1500dollars,
I'd like to know variables along that price range if possible,
