Hi everyone,

I am completely new to this whole thing. I am recording with Lexicon's Omega system with Cubase LE as the software. Basically I used to MXL mic's the 990 and 991. I know very little although I am learning more every day. I have an acoustic duo, basically two guitars and vocals. I am attempting to record the demo at home. Please take a listen and post any suggestions. Thanks so much in advance.

well the cover is ok and the sound is pretty good

but....

its a cover so I can't say you guys are good cause you might just be able to play that song and suck at everything else

its not good to play covers for your demo

just some advice

its compressed quite a bit. sounds like something recorded at a radio station or something. plus, come on, how many acoustic bands have to cover dave matthews band before the world ends?

Don't know the original so I can't compare.

Nice vocals - I like the long notes, and the breathy notes.

Well balanced between the guitars and vocals. Maybe a bit more panning of the guitars - they blend well but maybe it would give some separation/ distinction by panning.

American Bandstand (sic) - Dick I give it 9 out of 10 cause it's got a good sound.
