First punk band mix/mastering done. Take a listen.

The bands name is The Knockdowns who are from Portland Oregon.

I tracked/mixed/mastered 15 songs in 40 hours. This mix is about average in sound quality for these songs, and I posted because I helped perform the backup vocals too! :)

Overall, I am not disappointed in how it came out considering the rushed nature and the fact the band came in with no producer (guess who winds up doing it them, after the first day.....:(). Lot's of stuff I would have liked to do different, and certainly lots of stuff I would have liked to retrack or tweeked at mix time, but there just wasn't time with so many songs. But hey, most of these guys were a blast to work with and although I have yet to hear their first CD, everyone in the band said that the pushmixes I gave them during tracking blew away their first CD, which was recorded at another studio! :)

Well, nobody downloaded it, so I had to make room for other stuff since I only have 10mb on that server. I will have them back up here soon. I am "inheriting" a good amount of server space....;)

Sweet. I was off the borad for a while, and i hardly ever see punk music in the clinic, and i listen to a lot of it, so i am eager to hear the mixes.
