I think the lead should be an acoustic, preferably a nylon string. Malleted cymbals would work nicely in this song.
The rhythm guitars sound great.
I think that there are a couple of places the vocal could have been phrased more effectively - the delivery sometimes feels rushed. Horses for courses.

Thanks SuperC. I had an acoustic part in support of the rhythm guitar, but it didn't work well at all. Sounded nice on its own, but horrible in the mix. If anyone wants to do a classical guitar part, I'm willing to PM a link to an mp3 sans lead guitar. That would be interesting to hear.
I agree with the vocal phrasing, it's something I've got to work on in general. Basically, I don't have the patience to do more than one or two takes. I hate punch-ins, too. So whatever I track is pretty much it. Horrible practice, I know.....
Per everyone's suggestion, I brought the vocals down more. I don't know, I don't think I can distance myself and be objective anymore. I hear this song all day long in my head. Plus, this is still a headphone mix.
