First Post: Here's my set up. What's next?

I've recorded several tracks with decent quality using the following set up:

1. P3, 512 RAM, 80 gig drive
2. Santa Cruz sound card
3. Line6 Flextone (like POD, but an amp) for input
4. Alesis 100W amp
5. Event 2020 monitors
6. GuitarTracks software

I'm looking to take small steps to upgrade, focusing first on software since the drum tracks are pretty limited. I also want to mic an acoustic guitar and add some vocals.

Current overall sound quality is pretty good.

What's next?

For acoustic and vocals, you will need a decent mic and a preamp.

I suggest the Marshall 603s condenser for a mic and an ART Tube MP for a mic preamp.

What's your $$$$$$ budget?

Budget is really not the problem. I'm really looking to take small steps here and see how much I get into the whole process. But I'd rather hit eBay now for less expensive equipment and trade up later.

I liked the suggestion regarding the mic and preamp. And I'm looking for software (Guitar Tracks upgrade to Pro?) that will give me a more robust drum library and allow me more variance in tempo.
