In light of all of your learned and great comments, I did a quick edit job on the piece. Please listen and let me know if I did a good job of "cleanup". THANKS!!
PLEASE NOTE......This piece was mixed and ...uh....mastered with a $29.95 3-way el'cheapo po'ass' consumer grade Radio Shack speaker system. And ya wonder about too much bass?? LOL. I have a set of Yorkville near field reference monitors on the way to my house. Needless to say I CAN'T WAIT!!! Thanks all so much for taking the time to listen and comment. Appreciate the follow up listening in advance. Peace. ~~~Lee
Bill: The intro IS long. I agree. DOH!
Kramer: Very helpful comment. Thanks dude!!! I "cleaned" my bottom! OH MY!
(____Y____) <~~~Cleaner bottom
Cosmic Pig: It does sound dated. I am 46. Got a problem wit' dat'?? LOL Thanks for the kind words of encouragement!
Ashulman: Agree. The snares could have probably been made much "drier" and less "boomy". I could have done better. Great point!! FYI, The strumming Gee-tars is a program I DL'D from my SCSI drive to my Kurz. Do ya' hear the fret-squeakies??? Kinda kewl!
3XMMM: That 1:24 "crackle" was my attempt (in CEP 2.1) to increase the enunciation of the word "try", that I was not happy with. Great ears! I went back "into time" and snipped it. Gone. And the brain-dart? That was an intentional Fender harmonic squeal (phoney-baloney) on that note, but I like it!
You dudes ROCK my creative world. GUNG HO, HOME-RECKKKERZ!
