First Mix - Heavy/Alternative Metal

Okay, so this is my first mix with my gear. It was done rather quickly, but i would like to see what people think / what stands out in a good / bad way...

A lot of mids, but good recording techniques. I like the doubling on the vox.

thanks, yes i understand those mids... im really struggling with my kick drum sound.. 'meshing'with the bass guitar..

any other comments.. ?

Have you tried using a paramic eq for the bass drum? You could potentially lock in a very small frequency with the eq.

The drummer has some timing issues, but i'm not sure how you fix those. I seen a guy do it once, but all i remember was a blur on the screen of cut/paste and key commands =)

the drummer is me, i wasnt playing to a click or , ...anything, i just jammed out the song just for fun, its a new song, so yea, i realize my timing is off

i posted in the drummer thread, im working now on getting the kick drum sound i want.. thanks to the people who helped me over there
